Feb. 12, 5:45 p.m., an officer acted as a mediator for a resident in the West Campus Apartments during a custody exchange.

Lights out
Feb. 13, 12:15 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for not having their headlights on. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was lodged in jail.

Learn to drive
Feb. 13, 10:45 p.m., officers investigated a hit and run in Lot 47.

Double whammy
Feb. 13, 11:30 p.m., officers investigated a marijuana complaint in Merrill Hall. Two students were identified and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Valentine’s revenge
Feb. 14, 5:15 p.m., officers investigated malicious destruction to a vehicle in Lot 32. The victim’s car had been keyed.

Rolling in trouble
Feb. 14, 6:35 p.m., officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in Lot 54. One student was referred to the Office of Student Conduct for the use of marijuana and the other was charged with an MIP and also referred.

Retail fraud
Feb. 15, 12:10 p.m., officers investigated a retail fraud complaint at The Market. The suspect was identified and a warrant was sent to the prosecutor.

Lot 1 hit and run
Feb. 16, 2:15 p.m., officers investigated a hit and run in Lot 1.

Reckless and referred
Feb. 16, 4 p.m., officers investigated a complaint of reckless driving in Lot 37. The suspect was identified and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Fraud
Feb. 17, 4 p.m., officers investigated the fraudulent use of a credit card that had been in a lost wallet.

Warrant for weed
Feb. 17, 6:30 p.m., officers followed up on a prior complaint about marijuana possession in Bond Hall. One student was referred to the Office of Student Conduct and a warrant was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

All kinds of trouble
Feb. 18, 12:05 a.m., officers investigated a marijuana complaint in Travis Hall. One student was jailed for possession and violation of probation and also referred to the Office of Student Conduct. Another student was referred as well as having a warrant request sent to the prosecutor for possession.

DPS issued 214 traffic and parking violations from Feb. 12-18 totaling $3,960.
