The Lady Bulldogs continued their recent stretch of top finishes by finishing third at the Detroit Titans Invitational.
Ferris tallied a three-round 1,006 score to secure a top-three finish at the weekend tournament(April 11-12) that included five other competing teams. Oakland University took home first-place honors for team play.
The Bulldog effort was paced by freshman Jacqueline DeBoer, as she took home fifth-place(245, +30) for the weekend. Junior Blaize Baumgartner followed behind in sixth-place(246, +31).
On the weekend, six Bulldog golfers finished in the top 20.
Ferris was scheduled to return to the links(April 17) to compete in the Northwood Invitational at the Currie Golf Course in Midland, Mich., but inclement weather forced a cancellation of the event.
The Bulldogs will now get ready to battle conference foes at the 2011 GLIAC Championships (April 22-23) in Ashland, Ohio.
