Globalization and Manufacturing

Movie: “Son of Rambow”

The Big Rapids Community Library will be having a free showing of the English comedy, “Son of Rambow.” In the ‘80s a group of outsider English schoolboys sets out to make a movie based on the Rambo series. MLK 2010 Annual Freedom March

The Office of Multicultural Student Services will host the annual Freedom March that will kick off the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. The march will take place at 3 p.m. on Jan. 18 and will travel from Merrill/Travis Hall to the Rankin Center Lobby. Some brief remarks and refreshments will follow the conclusion of the march. MLK 2010 Tunnel of Oppression

The Tunnel of Oppression and Room of Reflection Exhibit will feature a multimedia display of images of groups of people oppressed during the Jim Crow Era as well as some from today.
