Vehicle window shot out and more

A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

False information

Feb. 10 at 4:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle near Admiral on State Street. The investigation revealed the driver provided false information. The subject was arrested with two other outstanding warrants.

Window shot out

Feb. 7 at 11:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to Ferris DPS on a MDOP (Malicious Destruction of Property) complaint. The back window of a vehicle in Lot 23 was shot out with a BB gun. Anyone with information is advised to contact DPS.

Harassment complaint

Feb. 3 at 11:00 p.m., officers took a complaint from an individual who was being harassed. The subject was advised to cease communication from the individual. The subject continued communication with the individual afterward and a warrant for arrest was issued.

Smell and small amount

Feb. 3 at 9:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to Bond Hall in reference to the smell of marijuana. The investigation revealed the subject had a very small amount and was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Quiet down

Feb. 5 at 3:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to Cardinal Court in reference to a noise complaint. The investigation revealed three subjects who all received an MIP. They were all referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Public urination

Feb. 4 at 12:05 a.m., Officers were on routine patrol near the Gate and observed a subject urinating to the side of the building. The subject was cited for urinating in public and to appear in court.

No headlights or license

Feb. 6 at 2:18 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle without headlights. It was revealed the subject did not have a license and was arrested for that matter.

Intoxicated driver

Feb. 5 at 2:05 a.m., Officers pulled over a vehicle on Stadium Drive and it was revealed the driver was intoxicated. The subject was arrested and received an OWI.

License expired

Feb. 5 at 6:53 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle with no headlights. The subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and having an expired license and was lodged in the county jail. n
