Damaged carburetor

Feb. 25 at 10:25 a.m., Officers were dispatched to Bond Hall in reference to a damaged carburetor. The carburetor was off of the wall. Anyone with information should contact DPS.

Laundry larceny

Feb. 25 at 5:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to Brophy Hall responding to a larceny complaint. The subject had their clothing stolen from the laundry room. Investigation continues.

Stolen purse

Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. – Officers were advised of a larceny complaint from Travis Hall. The subject stated her purse and other items were stolen while visiting campus. Investigation continues.

Peculiar smell

Feb. 27 at 12:06 a.m.-Officers were advised of a marijuana smell complaint in Brophy Hall. Investigation revealed a resident had admitted to having marijuana in their room. A small amount was found and the resident was referred to Office of Student Conduct.

Drunk driving

Feb. 26 at 2:24 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop on Perry Street near Clark street investigation revealed the subject to be OWI and was transported to Mecosta county jail.

Snatched bike

March 3 at 3:30 p.m. – A subject came in to DPS to report a stolen bike. Bike was parked at west entrance to the Starr building south of Williams auditorium.

EXIT sign damage

Feb. 28 at 8:08 a.m., Officers were dispatched to East Campus Suites in reference to an MDOP. A subject had damaged an exit sign that was hanging from the ceiling. Police reviewed the video and identified a suspect who admitted to the damaged. The suspect was referred to the Prosecutor’s Office and Office of Student Conduct.
