Marijuana mayhem

On March 19 at 6:50 p.m., there was a report of a marijuana complaint in Cramer Hall. One subject was identified and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Intoxicated incident

On March 19 at 3 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Perry Ave. at State Street. The driver was found to be intoxicated and lodged in the city jail for an OWI.

More marijuana mayhem

On March 19 at 4:55 p.m., there was a report of a marijuana complaint in Bond Hall. One subject was identified and sent to the Office of Student Conduct in addition to a warrant being sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Hit and run

On March 17 at 8 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 2.

Intoxicated minor

On March 17 at 7:50 p.m., officers located an intoxicated subject near Lot 32; the subject was found to be a minor and was ticketed for an MIP.

Another intoxicated minor

On March 17 at 4:25 p.m., officers located an intoxicated subject near the West Building. The subject was found to be a minor and was ticketed for an MIP.

Public drunkenness

On March 17 at 7:55 p.m., officers observed two subjects walking down the sidewalk on Michigan Ave. while drinking beer. The subjects were ticketed for public intoxication.

Damaged car

On March 16 at 9:40 a.m., there was a report of damage to a parked car in Lot 5.

Two-car collision

On March 16 at 1 p.m., there was a two-car accident in Lot 10.

Swiped wallet

On March 16 at 3:45 p.m., there was a report of a larceny of a wallet from Birkam Health Center.

Hit and run incident

On March 15 at 5 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident in Lot 68.

False alarm fixed

On March 11 at 6:50 a.m., there was a report of a fire alarm at the East Campus Apartments. The system was found to be malfunctioning and the physical plant fixed the problem.

Ticket totals: From March 15 through the 21, the Department of Public Safety identified 291 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $4,240. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced. n
