Concert chaos

On Mar. 31 at 9:10 p.m., there was a report of a disorderly subject at the concert at Wink Arena. The subject was lodged in the county jail for felonious assault.

Egged car

On Mar. 31 at 3:15 p.m., there was a report of a vehicle being struck by eggs next to the Rankin Center.

Harassment complaint

On Mar. 31 at 2 a.m., there was a report of a harassment complaint at Bond Hall. The incident involved a domestic complaint.

Car-deer incident

On Mar. 31 at 12:55 a.m., there was a report of a car-deer accident on State Street at Ferris Drive.

Hit and run

On Mar. 29 at 1:30 p.m., a hit and run accident occurred in Lot 47.

Ill-equipped

On Mar 29 at 10:25 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle at State Street for defective equipment. The driver was ticketed for driving on a suspended license.

Roommate thief

On Mar. 28 at 5:30 p.m., there was a report of a larceny complaint in Pickell Hall. The roommate was identified as a suspect and the matter was turned over to the prosecutor’s office.

Two-vehicle crash

On Mar. 29 at 9:10 a.m., there was a report of a two-vehicle accident in Lot 4.

Marijuana complaint

On Mar. 28 at 5:50 p.m., there was a report of a marijuana complaint in McNerney Hall. Two subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

On the run

On Apr. 2 at 2 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Oak Street near State Street. The driver attempted to flee on foot and was located at a residence. The subject was lodged in the county jail for an OWI and resisting arrest.

Female fight

On Apr. 1 at 11:50 p.m., there was report of a fight at the Rock Café. Two females were involved and the matter was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Brawl at Cranker’s

On Apr. 3 at 2:15 a.m., officers assisted city police with a fight at Cranker’s.

Intoxicated driver

On Apr. 3 at 12:20 a.m., Officers stopped a vehicle on State Street near Knollview Drive. The driver was intoxicated and lodged in the county jail for an OWI.

Expired plates

On Apr. 1 at 9:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on State Street for expired plates. The driver was on a suspended license and was ticketed.

Ticket totals: From Mar. 31 through Apr. 3, the Department of Public Safety identified 333 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $5,500. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced. n
