ArtPrize 2012

On Sept. 19, ArtPrize, the international art exhibition and competition, will begin in Grand Rapids.

Ferris’ Kendall College of Art and Design will be a part of the annual event as one of the 161 venues participating.

The event will run through Sat. Oct. 7.

Art Exhibit open

An art exhibit, “The Enchanted Transient Reality,” will be featured in the Rankin Art Gallery. The exhibit will feature works by Rob Vander Zee and Kathleen Elliot.

The exhibit is free and will remain open to the public until Saturday, Oct. 13. Fall gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Autumn aLive

We the Kings, American pop-punk band, will be performing the annual Autumn aLive event taking place on Nov. 1 in the Wink Arena.

Tickets will be $10 dollars for students and $20 for the public. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by Music Industry Management Association.
