Martin and Music

On Feb. 26, Office of Multicultural Student Services will host an event called Martin and Music.

The event, a stage production that honors civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., will begin at 7 p.m. in the Williams Auditorium.

DeBruyn named Chief Sustainability Officer

Gayle DeBruyn has been named Chief Sustainability Officer of Ferris State University’s Kendall College of Art and Design.

This role will allow the assistant professor of 22 years to help guide the college into the next generation of sustainable leadership, according to University Advancement and Marketing.

Ferris Foundation now accepting grant proposals

Ferris faculty and staff can request funding for projects that contribute to the university goals through The Ferris Foundation’s Exceptional Merit Grant Program.

Grant recipients will be chosen by the Foundation’s Gifts and Grants Committee, which consists of foundation directors, faculty and staff members. The grant awards will be announced Thursday, April 18. The deadline for submissions of proposals is Thursday, Feb. 28.
