Women’s History Month celebration

Ferris is offering award-winning productions and presenting awards in order to celebrate Women’s History Month, coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Student Services.

On March 19 at 7 p.m., the show “Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them” will take place at Williams Auditorium.

The event is free and open to the public. Due to mature language and topics, it is recommended for mature audiences.

Funding support to FSUbuntu

Ferris State’s registered student organization FSUbuntu received $2,000 in funding support from the Public Education for Peacebuilding Support initiative of the United States Institute of Peace.

According to University Advancement and Marketing, Ferris is the only establishment in Michigan to receive this grant for the semester.

Turn up the Good co-headliner

According to Ferris State University’s online blog, the Music Industry Management Association announced that GRiZ will be co-headlining Turn up the Good this year.

GRiZ includes Grant Kwiecinski, a 21-year-old producer from Detroit. “Mad Liberation,” his debut album, was released in April 2012.
