Reception hosted for visiting faculty
Ferris’ Center for Global Studies and Engagement will be hosting a reception on Thursday, March 21, to welcome 11 visiting faculty from Changsha Social Work College in China.
The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. in IRC 104. Food and beverages will be served following the presentation.
Ferris students to participate in Chavez March
On Thursday, March 21, Ferris students, faculty and staff will travel to Grand Rapids to participate in the Cesar Chavez Social Justice March and Community Gathering.
The event will honor the late civil rights leader and labor activist while promoting community unity.
According to University Advancement and Marketing, the Center for Latino Studies is offering transportation from the Big Rapids campus for students. The cost is $5 and includes lunch.
