Opening Doors
On Wednesday, April 3, Ferris State’s College of Pharmacy will open the Pharmacy Care Clinic.
The clinic will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The opening of this clinic will allow students to gain experience through internships.
The clinic’s goal is to offer access to people who have not have access to existing pharmacies for medication services.
Relay for Life
On Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6, Ferris’ Colleges Against Cancer student group as well as other student organizations on campus will participate in the sixth annual Relay for Life.
The event will take place at Wink Arena beginning at 6 p.m. Friday and will run until 6 a.m. Saturday.
According to University Advancement and Marketing, almost 50 teams of more than 400 students are already signed up to participate in the 24-hour fundraising walk. The event has been an organized event since 2008 by Ferris’ CAC chapter, a student division of the American Cancer Society.

My Sister’s Keepers Walk
In its 4th annual walk, the Ferris registered Student Organization My Sister’s Keeper is honoring the family of a young woman, Clara Riddles, who did not survive domestic violence.
The walk will be held Saturday, April 6. The event starts at 10 a.m. at the Campus Quad Seal. Registration for the walk is open at 10 a.m. For more information, contact Andrea Beck-Jones in the Office of Multicultural Student Services at becka@nullferris.edu.
Equity in the Classroom Conference
The Ferris community is invited to the 23rd Annual Equity Within the Classroom Conference held April 7-9 at Wayne State University.
The conference focuses on enrollment, retention and graduation for underrepresented students. If unable to attend, all members of the Ferris Community are encouraged to submit proposals that highlight Ferris’ curriculum or programs.
