Ferris Tennis
Mag, a senior out of Ontario, won his 19th career doubles match in his second season with the Bulldogs over Northwood in the GLIAC Championship.
Despite the team falling to Northwood 5-2, Mag and doubles mate Laurent Galarneau pulled off an 8-1 victory against a tandem they had lost to earlier this season.
Mag will be part of the contingent headed to the National Tournament, where they have clinched their second straight berth.
Mag also won his No. 1 doubles match against first round GLIAC opponent Tiffin and second round opponent Wayne State.
The second season senior also has 24 career singles wins and has a 13-5 career as the No. 5 singles player.
In addition to his record, Mag has claimed GLIAC Player of the Week twice in the last month, including last week.
The next stop for the Bulldogs is the National Tournament. Drury, the team that ousted the Dawgs last season, is currently ranked No. 20 in the country.
The Bulldogs are not ranked, but Mag and company plan on spoiling the party for the rest of the field.
