Alexis Huntey is having a start to remember in her junior campaign.

The 6 foot 1 inch tall junior outside hitter is third on the team in kills with 82, and has lead the Bulldogs in total kills in three out of the last four matches.

Last season, Huntey lead the Bulldogs in total kills with 375, averaging over three kills per set.

The nationally ranked No. 14 Bulldogs are off to a hot start in the GLIAC, and have yet to taper off.

Excluding their match with Grand Valley State (A 3-1 loss) Ferris has not lost a single set in conference play, posting a 18-0 mark without the Grand Valley State, and a 19-3 mark overall.

Last season, Huntey was seventh in the GLIAC in kills, and has helped highlight a balanced attack where three Bulldogs have 80 or more kills on the season.

Ferris is one game back of nationally ranked no. 12 GVSU (7-0) at 6-1 in conference play.

Huntey and the Bulldogs return home for homecoming weekend, where they have pivotal matches with Ashland on October 3 at 7:00 p.m. and Lake Erie at 10:00 a.m. to open up the homecoming sports festivities.

Ferris will see Grand Valley State at home on October 28 with a chance to avenge their September 23 3-1 road loss.
