Theatre musical auditions
Ferris State Theatre will host auditions for “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” a musical comedy, on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Thursday, Sept. 10 in Williams Auditorium. No previous theatre experience is required. The sign-up sheet for audition times is located near the Williams Auditorium stage door. “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” will run from Thursday, Oct. 29 to Sunday, Nov. 1. New Ferris apartment buildings
A contractor has been selected to begin construction of three or four new apartment buildings at West Campus Apartments near Finch Court. Physical Plant staff expects the building process to begin in October or November and have construction complete for student occupancy by the fall semester of 2016.
SRC tunnel project nearing completion
Construction crews have worked through the summer to replace an outdated steam distribution system in front of the Student Recreation Center, leaving the sidewalk system and building entrance difficult to navigate. Challenges with construction have delayed project completion until mid-September.
