Ferris State Torch news editor, Emma Walters, has died after putting out one too many fires on Oct. 27.
Walters was known for her bountiful advice and willingness to help. Unfortunately, her kindness is what put her under.
Following a particularly stressful week of editing news stories, scheduling and sending emails, Walters found herself in need of a calming meditative ritual.
The meditation proved to be too relaxing for Walters, who sort of just disintegrated in her place. She is survived by her cats and unedited stories.
Sometimes Walters’ ghost can be seen meditating on the Torch couch, with the faint noise of Fleetwood Mac playing eerily in the distance.
