Junior sprinter Zoey Hohmann was selected as this issue’s “Athlete of the Week” for her outstanding performance at the Hillsdale Invitational this past weekend. At Saturday’s meet, Hohmann placed second in the 400 meters with a time of 56.99 seconds. In addition, she placed fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.41 seconds.
At the Bulldog Invitational earlier this season, Hohmann won the 400 meets and took second place in the 200 meters. The Bulldog Invite was FSU’s first and only home meet of the season.
FSU will take part in two separate meets this next week with competitors in both the Mt. Sac Relays in California and the Grand Valley State “Al Owens” Classic in Allendale.
