Career Week

Career Week was in full effect on Monday, Feb. 4 and will last until Friday, Feb. 8. Students are offered a number of events to learn job-search tips and look into employment opportunities.

On Wednesday, resume drop-in sessions will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in FLITE 112.

On Thursday at the Ewigleben Sports Complex, a job fair for business and technology students will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Training at Carlisle

Before the demolition of Carlisle Hall, Ferris will make the facility available for training of police, fire and rescue personnel from around the state in the months of February and March, according to University Advancement and Marketing.

On Feb. 6, fire personnel from Big Rapids will conduct training in the residence hall for the first time.

Pro-choice speaker

Lynn Paltrow, a pro-choice speaker, will be on campus at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27. The event will be hosted by Ferris’ Political Engagement Project and is free and open to the public.

The event will be followed by a question-and-answer session and held in BUS 111.
