Droste has stepped up as a redshirt sophomore to become one of the most valuable scorers on the team.
The Bulldogs played Michigan Tech on Thursday, Jan. 16, where Droste drained four three-pointers in the first half and ended the night with a total of 19 points.
A nail biter until the end, Droste lined up at the three-point line, where her shot just came up short in the last few seconds of the game. The Bulldogs fell to the Huskies 71-70.
Droste leads her team in three-pointers with a high of 25, a total of 145 points, and an average of 13.2 points per game for the beginning of the season.
She averages 26.6 minutes per game and has played in all 11 games so far this season.
