Ato Condelee gets the nod as Top Dawg this week for Ferris State athletics, as he recorded two interceptions for the Bulldog football team in a 34-19 victory of the sixth ranked Panthers of Ohio Dominican.
The six-foot, 197 pound redshirt freshman picked off the Panther’s twice, marking his first two interceptions of his young collegiate career. Condelee also recorded one tackle in the victory on Saturday.
Condelee hails from Holland, Mich. where he played both wide receiver and defensive back for West Ottawa. At West Ottawa, Condelee claimed All-Area accolades and was a Holland Sentinel All-Area First Team performer. He was also ranked as one of the Lake Michigan Football Report’s top prospects of 2013 and was also ranked among The D Zone’s Top Great Lakes Prospects. Aside from football, Condelee also played basketball and ran track and field in high school, where he received recruiting interest from Division I schools.
