Candy Gram Fundraiser
Ferris STARs is having its annual Candy Gram Fundraiser. Send a personalized message to wish someone good luck on their exams or let them know you’re thinking about them. Candy Grams are $1 and all proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ferris STARs will be in the Rankin Atrium and the IRC Connector from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 7 to 9. Warm Up with a Cup
On Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Student Government is teaming up with Dining Services to bring a day of warmth. There will be tables set up in front of the IRC and in the quad that will be serving cups of hot chocolate and hot apple cider for $1. Names will be entered in a drawing to win prizes at the end of the day. Six tickets can also be purchased for $5. All proceeds will go to the United Way campaign. United Way Silent Auction
The Third Annual United Way Silent Auction will take place on Dec. 10 in the Rankin Center Mecosta Room from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Choose from over 75 items including gift certificates, pictures, homemade items, toys, home décor items, hockey memorabilia, and more. The Jane Doe Project
You Beautiful Black Woman (YBBW) presents the Jane Doe Project, a mixed-genre performance written, directed, and produced by Aquinas College student Cheyna Roczkowski that concerns experiences with rape, sexual assault, molestation, and domestic violence. The Jane Doe Project looks to bring awareness to the effects of violence against women. This free event takes place on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Rankin Center Dome Room. Pancakes with the President
Join President Eisler and other Ferris faculty and staff on Dec. 14 as they serve pancakes at a free pancake breakfast presented by Student Government, Office of the President, and Dining Services.
