For the first time in school history, Ferris football played in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II National Championship game. The game, which took place Saturday, Dec. 15, was played in McKinney, Texas, against the Valdosta State Blazers (Valdosta, Georgia). The Bulldogs ultimately fell to the Blazers 49-47.
