A round-up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Break-in?

On April 7 at 5:30 a.m., officers assisted city police with a possible break-in on Ives Ave. The area was searched. No suspect was located.

Strange noise

On April 7 at 4:30 p.m., an area check of the sanctuary was completed due to the complaint of a suspicious noise. Nothing was found.

Two-car crash

On April 6 at 3:20 p.m., there was a report of a 2-car accident in Cramer Circle.

Marijuana complaint

On April 4 at 2:15 p.m., officers assisted hall staff at Brophy Hall for a marijuana complaint. Two subjects had been identified. A warrant was sent to the prosecutor’s office for further investigation.

Out of control

On April 6 at 7:30 p.m., officers arrested a subject for disorderly conduct on Maple Street and Third Avenue The subject was lodged in the county jail.

Hit and run

On April 6 at 5:45 a.m., there was a hit and run accident in Lot 11.

Ticket totals: From March 31 through April 3, the Department of Public Safety identified 333 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $5,500. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced. n
